Section 1: "Single-Existence"
The nationality bill is a controversial law seeks to enshrine the status of the State of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people. The law passed by the Knesset in 2018 with a 62-55 majority, stoking outrage among critics and Arab lawmakers. The law demotes minority groups to second-class citizens, since it does not define any commitment to equal rights for them.

Section 2: "Loyalty to Culture"
In November 2018, the Minister of Culture Miri Regev's "Loyalty in Culture" bill passed its first reading in the Knesset. The bill would have granted MK Regev the authority to withdraw funding from artists if she determined that their work violated a set of political criteria — from denying Israel’s existence, to mourning Israel’s Independence Day, to denigrating the flag. Artists were concern form an unparalleled damage to artistic expression and an environment in which they self-censor in fear of their budgets being cut. In protest, several artists gathered in Tel Aviv to set fire to their artworks.

In December 2018, thousands of Israeli women have protested against domestic violence in a nationwide strike, calling for more action and state funding to deal with the problem. In Tel Aviv, protesters displayed 200 shoes that had been dyed red. 25 resembles the number of women were murdered that year.
